so it's one... and i have to be somewhere at 9. do you know where i have to be??? ringing bells for the salvation army. at that time it is supposed to be 18 degrees and feel like 2. yes, that's right, 2. OMG. but on the upside.... IT'S SUPPOSED TO SNOW!!!!!!! yay!

so today was the last day i got to go to santa fe south! but i talked to the lady, and i'm gonna see if there's a time that i could go back next semester. one of the boys told his teacher that i'm the best tutor he's ever had.... awwwwwwwwwwww! i told the same boy how i had to write a paper on the death penalty, and he said he was for it, even though he has a brother in jail for murder............ jeez.

on a side note, caitlin had a dream that she got punished for things by having either her head or leg cut off by a guillotine. but no worries, they then took her to the hospital and sewed the missing part back on. whew! (she told me this while we were studying in the library, and i started crying i was laughing so hard).

i am updating again because i am procrastinating again. darn. i'm supposed to be writing a paper about the death penalty. hmmmm. we'll see how that goes. so pretty much i have been in the best mood ever lately which is pretty weird. i think it's because i decided i really have some kick ass friends. they are super fun. and maybe knitting has made me happier. it's pretty cool too.

i'm going to santa fe south for the last time tomorrow! i'm pretty sad about it. the kids are really cool and nothing like i expected. i thought they would be scary and mean but they're not at all! it makes me want to work somewhere like that after i graduate. some of the teachers there are really shitty, but not all of them. all the kids seem to like the school a lot. since it's a charter school, most of them have spent at least sometime at another high school.

yayyyy i'm writing in my xanga! so today at santa fe south, i discovered that some of the kids that i tutor are in gangs!!! one guy is a crip!! scary! and then i told them that i wanted to go to their basketball game, and they told me i shouldn't because i might get shot!!!! it made me so sad! poor kids!

today me and mo went to boomerang and it was quite tasty! too bad i am really full now and can't move. oh well!

SO i'm updating, but if no one comments on THIS one, i'm never doing it again!!!!!!!!! so this weekend was supposed to be our date party, but the bus got in a wreck or some shit like that so it got cancelled... but it was still so much fun! heath came from OSU and went with me, it was craaazy!!! it was an all around fun weekend, with several embarassing moments that i will one day tell my grandchildren. and one included a sausage.... . So the other day, these people came to my room and asked if they could ask me some "survey questions" and they were students, so i thought it was like for a class or something.... UG I'M SO DUMB!!!!! they were people going around talking about christ and asking me questions like "who do you think jesus is?" and "if you were to die right now, what do you think are the chances you would go to heaven?".... BLAH i swear i must look like a sinner, b/c i seem to attract these people more than your average bear... and it annoys the bajesus out of me... i don't know why either, i just think it's ineffective and rude. but whatev... so i'm really excited b/c cait and i are gonna live in norman this summer! well, she won't be here in july, and i'll be living all by myself and i'll be lonely ... but it's okay, it'll still be fun. so damien rice is playing in the south oval for free on thursday.... i'm STOKED!!! oh. okay, since i like lists, i have a good idea for one.... top ten things i will miss about b'ville this summer (oh btw these are not in a particular order b/c that would be too hard):

10. the complete lack of traffic after 8 p.m.

9. SUNFEST!!!! (i might actually go back for that...)

8. My friends that are gonna be there (chels!!, the pom girls, etc.)

7. The fam!! yes, even Evan, that little rascal... (and stuart too, of course)

6. Being able to go to a mall that has stores for things like: model boats, western clothes, and southweswtern paintings with lights in them

5. Jimmy, the best gap manager ever!

4. wal-mart trucks.... they must be EVERYWHERE by now!

3. my favorite bartlesville landmarks such as: the price tower, woolaroc, frank phillips mansion, the high school, kiddie park, and i WOULD be able to put shenen kahn on this, if some bastard hadn't burned it down... still pissed about that one.

2. my fav b'vill eateries: pies and such, murphy's, lotta-burger, aroma's (where cait and i spent $60 in one sitting), dink's, and i did really like alfredo's until the FBI found out that it was really a cover up for drug deals and money laundering and shut them down.... damn.
